Friends, building people’s trust (in Homeopathy) is a very big challenge. One thing we can do is collect success stories (the experiences of Homeopathy patients) written in simple language that every common person can understand. And then we should think about how to make these stories widely known. Example of how the stories should be written : a patient who had a particular health issue may have tried various forms of treatment, and finally turned to Homeopathy. After beginning Homeopathic treatment, how did his health gradually improve, and what is his condition today? If we compile factually accurate stories (real experiences of people with different illnesses) like this in the form of a booklet or a website, then slowly, gradually, this will greatly help in establishing people’s trust in Homeopathy.

“In 1991–1992, I was traveling from Kanyakumari to Kashmir during the ‘Ekta Yatra,’ an event that lasted for 45 days. I was traveling in a truck and often had to stand while dust from the vehicle ahead blew directly toward us. I had to give speeches to the public every few kilometers. Under such difficult conditions, my throat normally would not hold up. A Hindi film actor, Manoj Kumar, sent me a Homeopathic medicine and advised me to take it every few hours. Friends, I am sharing my own experience, during those 45 days, I did not have any throat problems. Since then, during every election, I remember you,” (indicating that he continued using the same remedy to protect his throat). (Jokingly he added) “So, with Homeopathy, one can even win elections!”

I remember witnessing an incident related to Homeopathy when I was a volunteer with the ‘Rashtriya Seva Sangh.’ Through this organization, there was a ‘Seva Work’ project through which a Homeopathic Mobile van provided services to poor communities in the city of Ahmedabad. Initially, people in these communities did not trust Homeopathy. They believed that injections were the best form of treatment, and especially those after which they began to perspire. One must understand the psychology of patients. A Homeopathic doctor, Dr. Nilesh Modi, who later moved to the USA, was leading this project. One day, a poor man came to him asking for ₹15,000 for surgery to amputate his gangrenous leg. The doctor did not have the money to give him, so he instead offered Homeopathic treatment. With no other option, the man agreed. The doctor took special interest in this case and treated him with utmost care and dedication. You will be surprised and happy to know that after receiving only Homeopathic treatment, the man’s leg healed and was saved; no surgery was required. There must be many such stories happening everyday in your field of Homeopathy. I see a strong need to collect and share such success stories to establish people's trust in Homeopathy

In 2004, we started a big project to tackle the problem of malnutrition in children. We set aside ₹800,000 crore for it and soon began seeing really good results. I was closely involved in this work, and along the way, something caught my attention. When we gave the children nutritious food, things like milk and other important supplements, they started growing well. But the moment they reached the dentition stage, their immune systems became weak, and many of them fell sick with issues like diarrhea. In just a few days, they would become extremely weak again, and it felt like all the progress we had made was slipping away. I started thinking about how we could solve this. I had heard that Homeopathy has some commonly used remedies for children during the dentition period. So, I wondered, could the members of the Homeopathic association take up a project like this and help the government address this challenge? Can we start a large scale public movement to provide preventive services for these malnourished children by providing them Homeopathic remedies during the dentition period ?
